Frequently asked questions

Which technologies do you use for web apps?

Mostly Next.js and React on the front end, with Node.js or Go on the back end and PostgreSQL or Firebase for data. We deploy to Vercel, Docker hosts or your own cloud account.

Do we own the code?

Yes. The code lives in a repository you control and the app runs on hosting accounts in your name, so you are never locked in to us.

Can you build a SaaS product with payments?

Yes. DataClean uses Stripe and JWT authentication, and Synopt, our own product, has usage and cost dashboards on a Go backend with a Next.js front end.

How much does a web app cost?

It depends on scope. We quote after we understand the first release you need, and we keep that first release small enough to ship quickly.
