- Coming soon
A Mac tool for repeatable iOS and iPadOS App Store screenshots. Capture your app across devices, languages and appearances, reuse flows and demo states, then frame and export each listing. The Mac app is coming soon.
The challenge
Updating App Store screenshots often means repeating the same navigation, simulator setup and framing work for every device and language. Small changes between runs can leave a listing inconsistent.
What we built
We built a shared capture and rendering engine with a Mac app and CLI. Reusable flows and saved demo states make captures repeatable. Templates apply captions, backgrounds and fixed device poses, and export checks image dimensions and transparency before writing the listing.
Key features
- Repeatable simulator capture across iPhone, iPad, languages and light or dark appearance
- Reusable navigation flows and saved demo states
- Clean status bars and consistent capture profiles
- Templates with captions, backgrounds and reusable device poses
- Export plain captures or framed listings in fastlane and ButterKit folder layouts
- Companion Figma plugin for filling mockups and exporting compatible poses
Sample layouts

Example layouts using Fernwood, our fictional sample app. These are sample output and plugin artwork, not screenshots of the Mac app interface.
Availability
The Mac app is built and in private testing. It is not publicly released yet. Public download and release details will be added here when it is ready.
Figma plugin: submitted for review
Fill Frames matches an existing screenshot folder to compatible device mockups. It works independently of the Mac app. Export Poses packages one or many compatible mockups into a ZIP for reuse in the upcoming Mac app. The plugin does not capture an app or translate its text. It has been submitted to Figma for review; public availability is not yet confirmed.
